Sample Amplification is Not Needed.
PCR used to incorporate ZSG labels, not amplify. Many technologies for genetic analysis use 30 or more rounds of amplification on a small sample to get a strong enough signal for their reading system to detect. The alternative is using thousands of cells for the sample which can average-out the effects being researched for many types of experiments.
Bias and errors of PCR amplification are minimized with no extra work. Scientists have accepted the bias and errors introduced by normal amplification methods because the research tools required it and the results were still valuable. With ZSG technology this compromise will be unnecessary.
