The newest technology we use is ten years old. The creativity and production experience of other industries have driven reliability up and costs down over time for our components. We expect to continue to benefit from ongoing improvements of the semiconductor and digital imaging industries, and share them with our customers. The economics of our genetic analysis competitors’ products are primarily driven by their own business.
Our challenges are engineering and process integration of existing mature technologies. The scientific discovery and “first ever” demonstrations on our technology components have been completed.
